L’Oréal USA has achieved its third EDGE Move Recertification together with EDGEplus Recertification, marking more than a decade of sustained engagement with the EDGE Standards. EDGE Certified since 2014, the organization continues to demonstrate that workplace gender and intersectional equity require consistent measurement and discipline over time.
EDGE Move Recertification signals measurable progress across the four pillars of the EDGE Standards, including representation, pay equity, effectiveness of policies and practices, and inclusiveness of the culture. At this level, organizations meet the EDGE Standards in some of the assessed areas and implement an EDGE-approved Action Plan to drive advancement over time.
As with all EDGE Certifications, the assessment draws on Organizational Statistics, the Policies and Practices Questionnaire, and the EDGE Employee Survey. Together, these three sources of information provide a holistic foundation for understanding the status quo and achieving continuous improvement.
EDGEplus Recertification further deepens this assessment. L’Oréal USA monitors statistics across gender and race/ethnicity and reviews policies and practices related to race/ethnicity. It also assesses employee experience across gender and gender identity, LGBTQ+, race/ethnicity, age, disability, and nationality.
We congratulate L’Oréal USA on this milestone and its continued, evidence-based commitment to workplace fairness.
