EDGE Certified Foundation and Pihr Partner to Advance Pay Equity

The EDGE Certified Foundation has partnered with Pihr to support transparent and independently verified pay equity analysis.

As part of this collaboration, Pihr’s regression-based pay equity methodology underwent an independent review against the EDGE Pay Equity Analysis Methodology. The assessment evaluated the full analytical process, including data inputs, dependent and explanatory variables, regression models, calculation logic, statistical significance testing, and outputs. The validation confirmed that pay equity analyses conducted using Pihr align with the methodological requirements verified by EDGE auditors during EDGE Certification audits, providing organizations with a robust foundation for certification readiness.

This validation means that organizations using Pihr can integrate their pay equity analysis into the EDGE Certification process with confidence, knowing their methodology meets the EDGE Certification Requirements.

Pay equity is a core pillar of EDGE Certification, however, the EDGE framework takes a broader, evidence-based view of workplace fairness. Through the EDGE Assessment, organizations also evaluate representation across the talent pipeline, the effectiveness of policies and practices supporting equitable career flows, and the inclusiveness of organizational culture, as reflected in employee perceptions.
