Allianz SE and multiple Allianz business lines are globally EDGE Certified
Allianz SE has attained global EDGE Assess Certification, reflecting a sustained, systematic, and holistic approach to advancing workplace gender equity across the Allianz Group.
In this certification cycle, Allianz achieved results across all three EDGE Certification levels. At the group level, Allianz SE attained EDGE Assess Certification, marking the first time the Allianz Group has been certified at this level of organizational scope. In parallel, seven Allianz business lines achieved recertification globally.
- Allianz Partners is recertified at the EDGE Assess level
- Allianz Technology SE is recertified at the EDGE Assess level
- Allianz Insurance Business Segment is recertified at the EDGE Assess level
- Allianz Commercial (Corporate & Specialty) is recertified at the EDGE Move level
- Allianz Investment Management is recertified at the EDGE Move level
- Allianz Services is recertified at the EDGE Move level
- Allianz Trade Group is recertified at the EDGE Move level
Notably, three entities—One Allianz Ayudhya Thailand, Allianz Malaysia Berhad, and Euler Hermes Germany SA—attained the highest level of EDGE Certification, EDGE Lead.
Together, these certifications cover 86 individual entities across 34 countries of operation, demonstrating Allianz’s ability to apply a consistent, evidence-based framework for workplace gender equity across diverse business lines and geographies. The EDGE Certification process draws on three complementary sources of information: Organizational Statistics, the Policies and Practices Questionnaire, and the EDGE Employee Survey. Combined, these inputs provide a comprehensive and independently verified assessment across four pillars: representation, pay equity, the effectiveness of policies and practices, and the inclusiveness of organizational culture.
The distribution of Allianz’s certifications across EDGE Assess, EDGE Move, and EDGE Lead illustrates both breadth and depth of progress. While EDGE Assess recognizes commitment and a clear baseline for action, EDGE Move reflects measurable advancement against the EDGE Standards in selected areas. EDGE Lead, attained by three Allianz entities, confirms alignment with all EDGE Standards across the methodology.
