Lavazza Professional UK attains EDGE Advance Recertification, EDGEplus Recertification and becomes the first organization globally to achieve the EDGE Pay Equity and Transparency Certification

Lavazza Professional UK has achieved EDGE Advance Recertification together with EDGEplus Recertification, marking significant progress in its workplace gender and intersectional equity journey.

Having previously been certified at the EDGE Assess level, Lavazza Professional UK has now progressed to EDGE Advance, the third of the four levels of EDGE Certification. EDGE Advance recognizes organizations that have achieved substantial, measurable progress across nearly all areas of the EDGE Standards. Alongside this achievement, the organization has also attained EDGEplus Recertification, which expands the assessment beyond gender by incorporating an intersectional perspective and supports a more comprehensive approach to workplace diversity, fairness, and inclusion.

In addition, Lavazza Professional UK has become the first organization globally to be awarded the EDGE Pay Equity and Transparency Certification, independently certified by SGS. The certification combines an EDGE-compliant pay equity analysis with a targeted Policies and Practices Questionnaire assessing the implementation and maturity of the organization’s policies and practices that support pay equity and transparency. Together, these two components are independently verified and, where the EDGE thresholds are met, organizations are awarded the EDGE Pay Equity and Transparency Certification. The certification strengthens transparency, accountability, and organizational readiness for evolving pay equity and transparency requirements.

Nicolò Cristoni, Global Sustainability Manager at SGS, commented:

Organizations face increasing expectations to demonstrate their progress on pay equity and transparency in a way that is credible and trusted. Independent certification gives organizations confidence that their progress has been measured consistently and verified against an established framework. As expectations continue to evolve, that confidence becomes increasingly valuable for employees, regulators, investors, and other stakeholders. We are delighted to see Lavazza Professional UK become the first organization globally to achieve the EDGE Pay Equity and Transparency Certification.

We congratulate Lavazza Professional UK on these achievements and its continued commitment to advancing workplace fairness.
