Serena Hotels has achieved EDGE Assess Certification, marking a renewed and formalized commitment to advancing workplace gender equity. With this milestone, Serena Hotels is currently the only organization in Pakistan to hold EDGE Certification.
EDGE Assess is the first level of EDGE Certification and signals a structured decision to measure workplace gender equity against the EDGE Standards. The assessment examines gender representation, pay equity, the effectiveness of policies and practices, and the inclusiveness of organizational culture, providing a clear evidence base from which to define priorities and actions.
Grounded in independently verified data drawn from Organizational Statistics, the Policies and Practices Questionnaire, and the EDGE Employee Survey, the certification establishes a rigourous and credible starting point for sustained progress.
