This update marks the next step in our journey to ensure EDGE Certification remains aligned with the latest research, best practices, and global developments. Version 6 builds on the strengths of earlier editions while introducing important enhancements so that certified organizations are not only meeting today’s expectations for workplace diversity, fairness, and inclusion—but are also prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.

With the requirements now published, organizations seeking certification or recertification can begin preparing under Version 6. The updated standards will be effective for certifying organizations starting 1 January 2026 with a reference period starting on or after January 2025.
