The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) has achieved EDGE Move Recertification and, for the first time, EDGEplus Certification.
Certified since 2018, CEB continues to measure progress against the EDGE Standards and identify areas for improvement across the organization in relation to workplace gender equity. EDGE Move Recertification reflects measurable progress across the four pillars of the EDGE Standards, including representation, pay equity, the effectiveness of policies and practices, and the inclusiveness of organizational culture.
With the addition of EDGEplus Certification, CEB has expanded its analysis by incorporating an intersectional perspective. The organization assesses employee experience across gender in intersection with gender identity, age, disability, and nationality. It also analyses organizational statistics across gender in intersection with age and nationality, enabling a nuanced understanding of workforce dynamics.
As with all EDGE Certifications, the assessment is grounded in independently verified data, providing a structured and credible basis for continuous improvement. We congratulate the Council of Europe Development Bank on this milestone.
